3 Music Festivals Returning to Austin in 2021
Austin, Texas is known as America’s live music capital. Music festivals and concert events are an integral part of the city’s identity: a piece that has been sorely missed during the past long year of COVID lockdown. Music returns to the Austin air this summer, with the three great events featured on today’s list.
Outlaw Music Festival
When: Sunday, August 22nd, 2021
Where: Germania Insurance Amphitheater at Circuit of the Americas

Outlaw Music Festival returns to Austin this summer, featuring beloved country music legend Willie Nelson alongside Chris Stapleton, Sturgill Simpson, The Avett Brothers, Nathaniel Rateliff and the Night Sweats, Margo Price, and more. The event will be held at Germania Insurance Ampitheater: a massive outdoor concert venue housed in the Circuit of Americas complex.
Blended Festival Austin
When: Friday, September 10th and Saturday, September 11th, 2021
Where: The Long Center for Performing Arts
Admission Price: Ticket packages start at $149
Blended Fest will hold its inaugural Austin event September 10th and 11th at the Long Center Performing Arts outdoor pavilion. This new celebration blends wine and gourmet food from celebrity chefs with live music from a range of genres, including pop, country and EDM. Featured artists will include Blanco Brown, Loud Luxury, Dee Jay Silver, Kylie Frey and more.
Austin City Limits Music Festival
When: October 1-3 and 8-10, 2021
Where: Zilker Park
Admission Price: Tickets begin at around $135 per person.
Austin City Limits is one of the state’s most well-known musical events. Featuring a vast lineup of more than 100+ performers from a total of eight stages, the festival spans across two full weekends in October. It’s the perfect chance to sample all Austin has to offer: thrilling live music and mouthwatering local cuisine, presented amid scenic outdoor landscapes. The 2021 event is set to feature performances from the likes of George Strait, Miley Cyrus, Billie Eilish, Stevie Nicks and more.
