Lora Reynolds Gallery
Lora Reynolds Gallery was established in 2005. Founder Lora Reynolds worked previously in London and New York with Anthony DโOffay and Matthew Marks Galleries, and wished to embark on a project of her own. The gallery consists of a main exhibition space that can hold up to six different exhibits per year with a separate project space of four additional spots.
It features a variety of artists from the well-established to the fledgling beginner. Artists are chosen based on the theme of the project and the sensibilities of the curators. The gallery includes a variety of different media such as drawing, painting, sculpture, photography, printmaking, film and video.

Yard Dog Art Gallery
This local folk art exhibit was founded in 1995. Originally a small exhibition, it gathered native art from the South. Over the years it become among the most important galleries when it comes to folk art.
It features creators ranging from comic collage artist Mike Alcantara, woodcut artist Lisa Brawn, and contemporary sculptor Camp Bosworth.

Wally Workman Gallery
This is one of the most beloved local contemporary art galleries. Established in 1980, it is a historic property located in Austinโs art district. The gallery has two floors of exhibition space and is divided up into a few rooms, each of which contain only a few paintings.
The gallery currently represents 53 artists, among which are both emerging and well-established names. Their impressive roster includes Will Klemm, who has exhibited with the gallery for 23 years, Joyce Howell, and Ian Shults; alongside figurative artists such as Tracey Harris and Fatima Ronquillo.

Pump Project

Pump Project is a nonprofit organization dedicated to improving the local art scene. They work with young, emerging artists by providing them with the space and the infrastructure needed to create their work. Pump Project is now home to more than fifty artists, working in a variety of different media, including ceramics, glass painting, jewelry, mixed media and printmaking.
Art of 5th
Art of 5th stands as one of the largest contemporary galleries in the city, and one that you wonโt want to miss. Spanning 6.000 square feet, it features an eclectic collection of both modern and contemporary art.
The gallery was opened in 1988 by Joe Sigel, with a collection of works by renowned artists including Pablo Picasso and Andy Warhol. At this point, around fifty different artists currently display at the gallery. Touring exhibitions are hosted there as well. In 2009, Art of 5th expanded with an additional exhibition featuring jewelry.

Big Medium
Big Medium is an innovative, nonprofit organization that consists of two separate exhibit spaces known as Big Medium Gallery at Canopy and Big Medium Gallery at Bolm. They also host individual events throughout the year. This gallery is a staple of the local visual artist community and features a variety of different mediums and styles in its artwork. They also provide an affordable working space for those who are emerging in their art form and need some help becoming established.
